Obituary of Rev. Thomas C. Marickovic
Rev. Thomas C. Marickovic, 67, of Priests Retirement Residence, Lower Paxton Twp., died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital.

He was a retired Priest for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg, a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School Class of 1971, Loyola University, Chicago 1975, and Pontifical College Josephinium, Columbus, OH. He was ordained a Priest May 16, 1981 in St. Patrick Cathedral by the late Most Rev. Joseph T. Daley, DD, Bishop of Harrisburg.

His assignments include Sacred Heart of Jesus, Lancaster from 1981-83; St. Edward, Shamokin, 1983-85; St. Joseph, Coal Twp. 1987-92; Administrator St. Ignatius, Centralia, St. Joseph, Locust Gap and Locustdale; Our Lady of Mt. Carmel 1992-95; Sacred Heart of Jesus, Lewistown and St. Jude, Mifflintown 1995-03; Chaplain at Geisinger Medical Center and Maria Joseph Manor, Danville 2003-05; Sacred Heart of Jesus, Spring Grove, where he retired as Pastor in 2012.

Father was the son of the late John T. and Catherine M. Klobucar Marickovic and is survived by one sister, Mary Ann Marickovic Borucki and her husband, Eugeniusz of Camp Hill. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Angeline B. Marickovic and his beloved brother, John J. Marickovic.

Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Steelton with Most Rev. Ronald W. Gainer, DD, J.C.L., Bishop of Harrisburg, as Principal Celebrant. Burial will be in the Priests Circle at Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 am until 11:00 am in Prince of Peace Church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Oberlin. Current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines for the Commonwealth of PA will be enforced. Face masks and social distancing will be required.
