Obituary for Nancy Deimler (Pohner)
Nancy Pohner Deimler, 82, of Colonial Park Care Center, Lower Paxton Twp. and formerly of Harrisburg, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in the Center.
She was a retired Secretary for the State Office of Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.
Nancy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lottie Pohner and is survived by two sons, Joseph G. Deimler and wife, Cindy of Annville and Michael C. Deimler and wife, Carolyn of Oberlin; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her companion of 40 + years, Pierson R. Jones, Sr. and a sister, Mary Smith.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki, her Pastor, as Celebrant. Entombment will be in the Columbarium at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in her church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
