Obituary for Gary Shiffler
Gary Wayne Shiffler, 61, of Susquehanna Township, died Monday, May 8, 2023 in his home.
Gary worked in maintenance for ADM Milling Company, Camp Hill. He was a 1980 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg and he loved ballroom dancing and watching cooking shows.
Gary was the son of the late Paul A.Shiffler and Dorothy S. Shalek Shiffler and his brothers Gregory P. Shiffler and Charles L. Shiffler and is survived by 6 nieces and nephews, Gregory J. Shiffler and wife Leah, Harrisburg, Justin L. Shiffler and wife Jessie, Pottstown; Rebecca K. Dupler and husband Jason, Grantville, Shannon A. Shiffler, Hummelstown, Chelsea A. Wright and husband Anthony, New Cumberland and Brennan P. Shiffler, Harrisburg; sisters-in-law, Cynthia Shiffler, Harrisburg and Frances A. Shiffler, Harrisburg and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg, with the Rev. Leo M. Goodman, Pastor, Celebrant. Burial at the conclusion of Mass will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the church. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Oberlin.
