Obituary for Elizabeth Lanzino (Kist)
Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Kist) Lanzino, 88, of Steelton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home Friday, December 2, 2022.
Betty was a member of St. Patrick Cathedral, Harrisburg, and former member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Steelton.
Betty was the widow of Peter S. Lanzino. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Margaret Porco Kist and her sisters, Helen J. Kist and Joan A. Vogel. She is survived by three daughters, Sharon of Steelton, Cynthia of New York, NY and Amy Lanzino Anderson and husband Bradley of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Dana Lanzino of Philadelphia, and Delaney and Landon Anderson of Harrisburg; one sister, Marie Kist; and one brother James Kist. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and their children, near and dear to her heart.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 12, 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Patrick''s Cathedral, 212 State Street, Harrisburg with Very Rev. Joshua R. Brommer, Pastor. Prior to the service, visitation will be held in the Cathedral from 9:00 am to 9:45am, followed by a rosary. Private interment for the family will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
