Obituary for Doris Moyer
Doris Jean (Pinko) Moyer, 81, died Wednesday February 1, 2023 in Promedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Carlisle PA. She was the daughter of the late Stanley J. and Bertha M. (Knisley) Pinko.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Richard Guy Moyer who died in 1999. Doris was retired as a dental technician from Muth and Mumma Dental of Harrisburg, PA. Doris had a love for flowers and enjoyed growing many types of flowers including orchids in her greenhouse.
She is survived by her son Rick J. Moyer of Lewisberry, a brother Stanley J. Pinko Jr., two granddaughters Raechel Daker of York, and Leah Moyer of Easton, PA.
Three Great Granddaughters, Kayla, Jill and Ireland Daker all of York.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2022 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin with Rev. Kathleen Baker, STM, officiating. Burial Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17111 or to Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, 813 So. Baltimore St., Dillsburg, PA 17019.
