Obituary of Anton Valentic
Anton Valentic, 69, of Rutherford, died Sunday, December 6, 2020 in Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Swatara Twp.

He was a retired Jeweler for the Bulova Watch Co. and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.

Anton was the son of the late Mate and Jele Grdinic Valentic and the widower of Olga Valentic. He is survived by one brother, Dinko Valentic and his wife, Olga of New Hyde Park, NY; one sister, Marina Bolobanic and husband, Anselmo of Greenwood Lake, NY; sister-in-law, Katica Valentic of Rutherford; a cousin, Mary Ban and her family of Oberlin; and nephew Steven Valentic and wife, Christine of Garden City, NY; a niece, Michelle Schnaider and her husband, Billy of Floral Park, NY; one aunt, Marija Spicijaric; several additional nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 12:30 pm in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Very Rev. David L. Danneker, his Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin. Current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines for the Commonweatlh of PA will be enforced. Masks and social distancing will be required.

fIn lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 815 S. Second St., Steelton, PA 17113.
